Dalton is a dedicated ranch roping clinician with a simple mission: teach the core principles of rope manipulation so clearly that every student walks away equipped to keep improving on their own.
His clinics are intentionally structured around the individual — identifying each roper's specific pain points, refining mechanics, and building the exact skills needed for measurable, lasting progress.

"He doesn't teach you drills. He teaches you how to think about the rope."— Past Clinic Attendee
At every clinic, my goal is simple: to teach each student the core principles of rope manipulation.
When these principles are combined with proper mechanics and a clear understanding of how to troubleshoot every miss, your confidence and consistency with a rope will skyrocket.
Each clinic is intentionally designed to meet students exactly where they are. Whether in a mixed group setting or a structured class format, I provide clear, practical instruction for every level of roper. If your goal is to become more consistent and versatile, you're in the right place.
While these are not horsemanship clinics, we do cover a wide range of drills and practical tips to help your horse better understand their role in the roping process. We'll discuss and apply foundational horsemanship principles that make your horse's job easier, clearer, and more enjoyable.
My focus is always on the individual student — identifying pain points, refining mechanics, and building the specific skills needed for measurable improvement. My ultimate goal is for you to leave with the tools to self-train, grow, and continue progressing long after you walk out of the arena. I don't want you to need another clinic — I want you equipped to succeed on your own.
Thank you for considering spending your time with me. I'm truly humbled by the number of people who want to learn this skill set, and I can assure you that you won't find a clinician who will work harder to help you achieve your goals.
All roping levels are welcome at every clinic. Whether you're brand new or have years under your belt, Dalton's approach is built around the individual — he identifies exactly where you are and builds from there. Beginners won't feel lost; experienced ropers won't feel held back.
Yes. These are mounted clinics covering horsemanship principles as they apply to roping work. If your situation is different, reach out to the host of your specific clinic before registering — most cities offer an audit option for attendees who want to watch and learn without bringing a horse.
Not strictly — but horsemanship is woven throughout. Dalton covers a wide range of drills and practical tips to help your horse better understand its role in the roping process. You'll walk away with foundational principles that make your horse's job clearer and more enjoyable.
You'll receive a full refund if you cancel more than 2 weeks before any clinic. If you cancel within 2 weeks of the start date, you'll receive a 70% refund of the clinic fee. Spots are also transferable — send another roper in your place if life gets in the way.
Each clinic is two full days of hands-on instruction. Most cities offer multiple class formats — typically Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and an Audit option — so you can pick the level that fits where you are. Click any clinic in the schedule above for the specific tier breakdown.
Absolutely. Many ropers attend multiple clinics throughout the year — the more reps you put in with the 310 system, the faster the principles become second nature. Each clinic is structured to meet you wherever you are, so you'll never be stuck repeating material.
Each clinic has its own host with their own contact info. Click the clinic in the schedule above to see the host's name and phone number on the clinic page.
